If you don’t have any signal and all the connections are ok (LNB and dish …).
The tuner has problem
But you don’t need change all the tuner just replaces one of the capacitor of tuner and everything will be ok.

See the following and Save you money

Cause
Inside the tuner it becomes very hot, because the IC's give heat.
The big elco 220uF therefore lowers it value (On this foto the metal cover was totally removed, but not needed !)

This cause the tuner to malfunction in time; signal stength starst fluxtuating, becomes weakers, disappears.
This all can appear within a week.

Solution
Open tuner carefully (see picture)


>> you can totally remove metal cover, or even better just cut open as on foto

and replace the SMD elco for a new one (see picture).

as you can see the elco is not a tiny SMD-component, but will work fine

capacity is 220 uF (info: you say "220 micro farad")
work voltage is at least 10 Volt
working temperature = I prefer Color is black for 85 degrees- or better 105 degrees celcius.
